Week of October 2 - 6
Students are still working on the tweentribune.com articles. A new article will be assigned each day, and the average of the short quizzes will be the grade entered.
We will be continuing "For Loops" in class this week in Swift Playgrounds, though students must have functions mastered in order to be successful as the Computer Literacy course moves forward.
We will be having an exam on the introductory principles as well this week on Wednesday.
Week of September 25 - 29
Students are still working on the tweentribune.com articles. A new article will be assigned each day, and the average of the short quizzes will be the grade entered.
On Monday, students were given a paper copy of the Functions Quiz Study Guide, they have had access to the this in Schoology since last Monday, they are to complete the paper copy and turn it in for credit on Tuesday. The Functions Quiz will be Friday.
We will be staring "For Loops" in class this week in Swift Playgrounds.
Week of September 18 - 22
Students are still working on the tweentribune.com articles. A new article will be assigned each day, and the average of the short quizzes will be the grade entered.
A unit test is forthcoming, but the date has not been confirmed yet. We will still be continuing in the Swift Playgrounds.
If a student is struggling in another class, they should speak to Señor K. about making arrangements so that they are allowed to devote an agreed upon amount of time in Computer Literacy class to catching up in the specific class they need to improve in.
Week of September 11 - 14
Students are still working on the tweentribune.com articles. They will need to have 10 articles read and taken a quiz on each of them by Thursday, September 14.
We are also continuing in the Swift Playgrounds.

We will be starting the Tweentribune.com articles this week. Students will be given their username and password in class. Additional assignments can be found to complete in the September 1, 2017 folder in Schoology.

The 1st vocabulary quiz will be given in class on Wednesday, August 30.
This week we will finally be working in the Swift Playgrounds on the iPad. Students should make sure that the app is on their iPad and they subscribed to Swift in iTunes U.
Week of August 21 -25
We will be having a project test this Friday in class. The students will be completing projects on NearPod, and then learning the vocabulary that has been posted in Schoology.
Hopefully, all technical issues will be resolved this week.
Week of August 14 - 18
Hopefully all of the iPad problems will be worked out so that everyone will be able to access Schoology and complete the assignments posted. The coding vocabulary list has been posted on students should expect to be given a graded assessment on those sometime after Wednesday.
